Student Scientific Association for Negotiation, Communication and Psychology (SSANCP) is one of the oldest and most active student’s organisations at Warsaw School of Economics. It was established in 2000 in cooperation with Warsaw School of Economics’  Department for Human Capital Development.

The aim of our organisation is to improve our members’ skills concerning negotiation, effective communication and psychology and to promote those skills among students. In order to fulfil this goal we carry out various projects as well as organise lectures, delivered by professional companies, special guests or most experienced members of our association.

SSANCP is considered to be one of the most active students’ associations at Warsaw School of Economics. Our projects are highly evaluated by Student Authotities at Warsaw School of Economics.

Especially, we are very proud of our flagship project called Negocjator (the Negotiator), a 3-day conference devoted to the negotiation. Every year more than 700 students from leading Polish universities participate in this event. Over 20 professional companies deliver special trainings, courses and lectures on negotiation for the participants free of charge. Moreover, the Negotiator has appealed many special guests such as: Władysław Bartoszewski (former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland), Stefan Meller (former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland), Zbigniew Lew-Starowicz (renowned Polish psychiatrist and sexologist) and Bogdan Rymanowski (Polish journalist), who have delivered lectures for the participants.

SSANCP’s other projects: UNICEF Project (charity campaign), Studencki Turniej Negocjacyjny (Students’ Negotiation Tournament) and Columbia Negotiation Games are also highly popular among Polish students.

In 2010 we organised  the first edition of Warsaw Negotiation Round 2010, which turned out to be a great success attracting plenty of students from leading business and law schools worldwide.

Another area of concern of our associaton are publications. We have already published 4 books on negotiation covering scenarios and analysis of negotiaton games. One of those publications written  by former SSANCP members is currently available at the bookstores in Poland and has received favourable reviews.
